Why have i lost motivation to go to school?

Just as some other people say...school is a game...a game that many of us are forced to play. Yes, it is very normal to not want to go to school because sometimes it seems futile. Sometimes it seems like even though you'll work hard, you won't get what you want. Sometimes it feels like we should just give up. When has it ever been the right thing to give up? Your friend may live a life style that's free, and a life style that may be appealing to you...But eventually they may get bored...or maybe they'll regret what they've done. They might not be able to support their children if they choose to have them...It's a much harder life to find opportunities. Why not finish high school? You're young, you have a lot to live for, and it's not that much longer. Just as everyone tells you, pull through. Once you're out of high school, and possibly college if you choose. You can choose which ever life style you want. The life style that your friends live, you can live that too. However, there will be a difference, you my friend, will have more options. Hell, you might even be able to help your friends more if that's what you wish. You can have your cake and eat it too. You've already been forced to endure this hell for so long. 11 years or so now. So why not finish? They may seem to be the longest fourteen month's of your life. However, I promise you, the month's, the years, maybe even the decades, that you spend regretting this decision, will be a hell of a lot longer. Say you have kids who face the same difficulties. Would they look at you and say, "well mom did it, maybe I can too..." Please, do it for yourself, your family, your parents, your friends, and even your teachers that took the time, despite the meager salary they are paid, to prepare you for life. Sure, they may not have done it perfectly, or even well, but it will all have been in vain if you give up now. And times are changing...a G.E.D. is essentially useless. My friend took the test. He ped it with flying colors and his eyes closed. He's not exactly the brightest of individuals either. The test is a joke. Don't fall to that standard...Just finish, if you lack motivation. Find it. It lurks in every corner...you just need to take the time to search.
