What time in the morning can a landlord start pounding on your house?

Our landlord has been trying to fix up his property for about 1/2 a year now. That's fine but when he starts pounding on my sons side of the house/or mine for that matter; my son wakes up and can not get back to sleep because of the constant pounding. The landlord starts pounding between 6-7 A.M. Isn't there some kind of ordinance where a landlord can not start pounding on the outside of your walls (he is doing the siding, shingles, etc....) until atleast 9:00 A.M. It would not be so bad if he worked on this for a week or two and then it was over; but this particular pounding outside of bedroom windows, etc.....has been going on for atleast a month now; probably more. Help!
