Would a second stimulus package sent out before Christmas be helpful to the economy?

I strongly believe that we need a second stimulus payment. No one seems to think about the hard working american. I have two small children and I am in college my husband is the only one who works right now and the first one helped alot. Because of rising fuel prices my husband had to quit driving a semi and go to work some where else, because of that we to a big pay cut and it is all we can do right now to make ends meet. Everything is going up but we aren't getting paid more to compensate for the rising cost of things. I know some people try to keep up with the jones but what about the ones of us who are just working hard to keep what we have and support our families?
