Question to females about college guys?

I am a junior in college and I live in a dorm. I have a roommate, who's in a fraternity ,that has a really old smelling odor on his side of the room. And he always keep his side junkie. Every night he has a different female in the room to have with. I don't understand how is it that he gets women and he has the bad odor and I don't and I keep my side clean. I'm wondering because I try to be respectful and carry myself well but it doesn't really help.
