Death based fairy tale made through song lyrics?

I need to make a fairy tale based on the lyrics of Lykee Li's song "Until We Bleed", which involved mythological characters including Cupid, Bad habits including Drugs, and of course, Love. The song is based on her unconditional attachment to him even thought she knows he is wrong for her. Is there any dark fairy tale similar to this subject, or any ideas for a plot to make up your own?
